....stuck!!!

 

With the bucket up high
or the bucket down low,
Bill tried and tried,
but it just wouldn't go!!

 

"Oh why oh why
did I take such a job?
I just didn't know
it'd be rought as a cob!"

 

Bill and Ol' Betsy
worked hard and they tried,
but the more they worked
their goose just got fried!

 

They spun her tracks,
both left and right,
but to no avail,
they just wouldn't bite.

 

Late in the day,
while running out of light,
poor Ol' Betsy,
was going out of sight!
